Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- The Hatton Police have launched an investigation into an incident where a teacher at Bosco Vidyalaya in Hatton had assaulted a student of Grade 3 of the Sinhala Primary Section.

The student had faced this incident last Friday and the father had admitted the student to the Dikoya Base Hospital last Tuesday.

Investigations commenced on a complaint lodged in relevance to this incident with the Hospital Police.
