Sri Lanka, Oct. 15 -- Acting Minister of Transport, Highways, and Urban Development, Prasanna Gunasekera, stated that 98 professionals have been recruited for the vacant posts of Supervisory Manager Grade III in the Railway Department, and they will also retire under the current administration.

He expressed these views at a ceremony held on October 13 at the Maradana Railway Station.

The Minister emphasized that human resources are the most crucial factor required to advance the Railway Department to the expected level. He added that recruitments for vacancies will be carried out as quickly as possible in the future.
