Sri Lanka, March 3 -- An 80-year-old woman from the Divula area in Kegalle has died after being attacked with a stone during a land dispute.

The attack took place on January 8, and the victim had been receiving treatment at the Kegalle Teaching Hospital for nearly two months. Hospital sources confirmed that she passed away yesterday (02).

Police have arrested a 46-year-old suspect from the Pussella area in Kegalle in connection with the incident.
