Sri Lanka, June 4 -- 78 students from two schools in the Batticaloa area have been hospitalised after experiencing various allergic reactions following a meal provided at their primary schools.

Hospital sources indicate that some of the students have already received treatment and been discharged.

Further investigations are underway to determine the cause of the allergic reactions.
