Sri Lanka, Jan. 19 -- Another 60 members of the Parliamentary staff were subjected to PCR tests yesterday (18), and their results are due to be released today (19).

Previously, 943 persons, including staff members and MPs were subjected to PCR tests as well. Among them, five staff members and four security personnel were diagnosed with the virus.

Meanwhile, during a rapid antigen test which was conducted yesterday (18) State Minister Piyal Nishantha has diagnosed with the virus. His wife and his daughters were also identified as COVID patients. When inquired, the State Minister stated that he is currently being quarantined at a hotel in Koggala.
