Sri Lanka, Aug. 28 -- Sri Lanka's Minister of Health, Nalinda Jayatissa, has received the technical report from the 2025 National Immunisation Summit, which took place in March this year. The report was officially handed over by the Chief Epidemiologist, Hasitha Tissera.

The Minister stated that his ministry is dedicated to achieving the Global Immunisation Agenda 2030, a strategy set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other partners.

The report's recommendations are expected to be a crucial tool for decision-making and policy implementation, particularly for introducing new vaccines and strengthening the surveillance of vaccine-preventable diseases.
