Sri Lanka, Feb. 17 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake presented the 2025 budget to Parliament today (17). According to the summary of estimates, the total income and receipts for the year are recorded at Rs. 4,990 billion, while total expenditure stands at Rs. 7,190 billion.
As a result, the budget deficit for 2025 is Rs. 2,200 billion.
