Sri Lanka, Jan. 10 -- The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education released the official schedule for major school examinations for the year 2026.

Preparations are complete to hold the General Information Technology (GIT) examination tomorrow (11), which was previously postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

The Department of Examinations also confirmed that the remaining subjects of the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination resume this coming Monday (12).

Testing for these outstanding subjects will take place from January 12 to January 20, 2026.
