Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- The 20 containers of garbage that was brought down from England are set to be re-shipped tomorrow (31).

In 2017, 242 containers were shipped to Sri Lanka from England, and the Customs Department had previously taken steps to re-ship 21 such containers.

Afterwards, the Court of Appeal announced the verdict in a court case filed in this regard, ordering that all containers be returned to England.

Accordingly, another 20 containers will be shipped to England tomorrow (31), said Customs Spokesman Additional Director General of Customs Sunil Jayaratne.
