Sri Lanka, March 26 -- An 18-year-old motorcyclist from the Kotiyagala area died after his motorcycle veered off the road and crashed into a culvert guardrail on the Kotiyagala 05-post by-pass road in the Athimale Police Division yesterday evening.

The victim was seriously injured and succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to Athimale Hospital. The body has been placed at the hospital's morgue, and Athimale Police are conducting further investigations.
