Sri Lanka, June 5 -- The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) announced that 148 Sri Lankans departed the country yesterday (4) for jobs in Israel's construction sector.

This latest group brings the total number of Sri Lankans who have left for various sub-sectors within the Israeli construction industry to 413.

The SLBFE reiterated that numerous job opportunities for Sri Lankans are currently available in nursing services, construction, and the hotels and restaurants sector in Israel.
