Sri Lanka, April 29 -- A 14-year-old has etched his name into the history books after becoming the youngest player to score a century in men's T20 cricket.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, representing the Rajasthan Royals, achieved the remarkable feat against the Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The teenage left-hander reached his hundred in just 35 balls, the second-fastest in IPL history and the quickest ever by an Indian player. He brought up the milestone in spectacular fashion, dispatching Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan for a six.
