Sri Lanka, July 16 -- Fourteen tea estate workers were hospitalised today (16), after a wasp attack in Agarapathana.
Police report that nine workers from the Nallathanniya Estate in Agarapathana and five female workers from the Torrington Estate were admitted to the Agarapathana Divisional Hospital.
Local residents state that wasps often become agitated and attack when hawks strike their nests, which are built in tall trees within the tea estates.
