Sri Lanka, June 17 -- The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has announced that legal action will be taken against 105 shops in Anuradhapura following raids conducted during Poson Week.

The CAA stated that these establishments face legal proceedings for offences including selling food at inflated prices, selling expired food items, selling religious items without proper information, and failing to display prices.

The raids were carried out across Anuradhapura city, the Anuradhapura sacred city, Mihintale, and Tissa wewa areas.
