Sri Lanka, June 9 -- A 10-hour water cut will be imposed in several areas of the Gampaha District tomorrow (10).

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that the disruption will occur from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Areas affected include Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, and Seeduwa Urban Council areas, along with parts of the Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja-Ela, Katana, Minuwangoda Pradeshiya Sabha areas, and a portion of the Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area.

The suspension of the water supply is due to improvements being carried out on the solar power system installed at the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant and the main water supply system.
