India, Oct. 15 -- Five key accused in the Zubeen Garg death case - including the Zubeen's cousin Sandipan Garg and manager Siddhartha Sharma - have been sent to 14-day judicial custody, as the investigation into the tragic death of the Assamese icon continues. The others remanded include Shyamkanu Mahanta, Nandeswar Bora, and Paresh Baishya.

According to officials, none of the accused were represented by lawyers, and no bail applications were filed before the court. According to reports, they are expected to be lodged at Guwahati Central Jail while the probe, led by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Assam CID, enters a crucial phase.
