Silchar, Oct. 19 -- At least nine people were arrested in connection with the violent attack on a police convoy during the transfer of five accused in the Zubeen Garg death case, a senior police officer familiar with the matter said on Saturday. According to police, the assault was a well-planned operation monitored from Bengaluru. Senior superintendent of police (SSP), Baksa, Ujjal Pratim Baruah, said, "Most of those arrested have a criminal history and are being investigated thoroughly."
