Ludhiana, Jan. 11 -- The municipal corporation has proposed a comprehensive redevelopment of its Zone A office along with a 12-storey multi-level parking facility under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, aimed at reducing traffic congestion and improving civic infrastructure in the busy commercial area.

According to officials, the MC has hired a professional consultant firm to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) and finalise the technical and financial framework of the project. The redevelopment is expected to be awarded to a private developer on a 99-year lease.
