India, Jan. 11 -- Terming the Waqf Board a "board of land mafias", Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that those visiting the Maha Kumbh with the intention of the claiming the land the mega festival is being held on, will face "denting and painting" even as he welcomed any visitors "who respect Indian traditions". The chief minister, in an interview with a news channel days before the Maha Kumbh begins in Prayagraj, said that the Kumbh, a once in 12 years affair, is a symbol of India's heritage which was mired in mismanagement under previous state governments. "If someone now calls this land Waqf Board property, we must ask whether it belongs to the Waqf Board or land mafias...we will put an end to this," he said. P...
