India, March 28 -- The Ghaziabad development authority (GDA) has floated a request for proposal (RFP) to develop three major theme-based parks involving an investment of Rs.42.83 crore, officials said on Thursday. One of the parks, with a theme based on the Ramayana, will come up over an area of 22,700 sqm at GDA's Koyal Enclave housing scheme.

The two other parks are Sanskriti Darshan Park, be developed on a 10.3-acre site at the Hathi Park/Rani Avanti Bai Park in Indirapuram, and Greenwood Park, to be developed at the Nimbu Park, also in Indirapuram, over an area of 3.95 acres. Work on all three will begin in April.
