New Delhi, March 17 -- A 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped at a hotel in Saket, south Delhi last week by a man she met on a dating app, police said on Sunday.

The incident took place on March 10. The police have identified the accused and have booked him for alleged rape, cheating and blackmail, and he will be arrested soon, officers said.

"In her complaint, the woman said she met the man on a dating app. The man asked her to give him Rs.22 lakh to help with his business and she did so. He later raped her on the pretext of marriage but then refused to marry her and threatened to upload their personal photos," an officer said. htc
