Bengaluru, May 22 -- The mutilated body of an 18-year-old woman was found stuffed inside a blue suitcase near the old Chandapura railway bridge in Bengaluru on Wednesday, police said. The suitcase, which appeared to have been discarded recently, was spotted around 10am by locals, who alerted the police upon noticing the suspicious item lying abandoned near the tracks. Police officers from Bengaluru Rural district rushed to the spot and launched an investigation, an officer said. Preliminary findings indicate the woman was murdered elsewhere and stuffed in suitcase, which was thrown off a moving train, the officer said.
