New Delhi, July 17 -- A 24-year-old woman was rescued by Delhi Police on Tuesday afternoon after her 27-year-old former fiance barged into her office in central Delhi's Paharganj wielding a knife and threatening to attack her, officials said on Wednesday. The accused, identified as Karan Singh, was arrested on charges of stalking, harassment, and assault. Police said Singh had been harassing the woman for over five months following the cancellation of their engagement. According to investigators, Singh stormed into the woman's office and confronted her, shouting, "Ab dekhte hain tum kisse shaadi karti ho. (Now, let's see who you marry)".
