India, April 14 -- The Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) antitrust trial against Meta begins Monday, marking the culmination of a nearly six-year investigation and legal battle that could shape the future of the tech giant.

Lawyers representing the FTC and Meta are set to present their opening statements before US District Judge James Boasberg, kicking off a trial likely to run for seven to eight weeks.
