Mumbai, Feb. 16 -- In September 2023, Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee set a world record. He took just nine deliveries to score the fastest half-century in international cricket, in an Asian Games match against Mongolia. On Sunday, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Airee scored another half-century, this time a fighting 58 off 47 deliveries. What it did was make him his country's highest run-scorer in the history of the T20 World Cup - with a total of 143. What it could not do however, was help Nepal get to a strong enough total in their Group C match against the West Indies.
