India, Oct. 10 -- US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Friday announced the finalization of an agreement allowing the Qatari Emiri Air Force to construct a facility at Home Air Force Base in Idaho. The announcement was made during a joint appearance at the Pentagon with Qatari Minister of Defense Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as reported by CBS News.
The agreement, which Hegseth announced alongside the Qatari Minister of Defense, will support joint training operations, allowing Qatari pilots to train alongside US forces, as reported by CBS News.
