India, July 31 -- German influencer Younes Zarou was detained by Bengaluru Police on Wednesday evening for gathering a large crowd on Church Street.

This incident comes months after British singer Ed Sheeran was stopped from performing on Church Street during his India tour.

Zarou is an influencer from Germany has has nearly 21 million followers on Instagram. Born in 1998, Younes is also a content creator and web video producer. On TikTok, the influencer has around 56 million followers.
