India, Sept. 13 -- An unidentified bearded man who seemed to be applauding at a Utah Valley University event shortly after Charlie Kirk was shot has now taken to social media to explain his actions.
The video, which was taken from live TV feeds and extensively circulated on social media, depicts a young man wearing a black T-shirt and a backward baseball cap raising his hands in the air and yelling, "USA! USA! USA!" just seconds after Kirk, 31, was shot in the neck by a sniper during a debate on campus.
