India, Jan. 3 -- After months of heightened tensions between the United States and Venezuela, Donald Trump-led US administration launched military action on the Latin American nation on Saturday, and took into custody President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, who will face prosecution in the New York.

Amid speculation over the whereabouts of Maduro and his wife and where were they "captured" from, the country's ruling party leader Nahum Fernandez provided some clarity. He said they were at their home within the Ft Tiuna military installation when they were taken by US forces.
