India, Sept. 21 -- It has been a dismal start for Billy Napier and the Florida Gators. After a 55-0 win over FCS team Long Island, the Gators conceded an 18-16 loss against South Florida and endured another 20-10 defeat at LSU. On Saturday, the Gators conceded a 26-7 loss at the hands of the Miami Hurricanes at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Many thought the fixture against Miami could very well have been Napier's last as the Gators' football coach. A new detail about Napier's buyout has now emerged. Florida owes nearly $21.7 million to Napier if it decides to fire him after the Miami game, as per his contract, claimed USA Today Sports.
