India, Oct. 1 -- Indiana Fever star guard Kelsey Mitchell exited in the third quarter of Game 5 of the team's semifinal matchup against the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday, after she suffered a potentially serious injury.

During a Fever possession, Mitchell was seen clutching her left knee. Moments later, following an offensive foul called on teammate Aliyah Boston, she signaled to the referee that she needed medical assistance.

Team trainers rushed to her side and spent several minutes tending to her leg. Although a stretcher was brought onto the court, Mitchell was helped off by staff and walked to the locker room, surrounded by concerned teammates, including Caitlin Clark.
