India, Sept. 13 -- Salman Ali Agha's Pakistan got off to an emphatic start in the 2025 Asia Cup as the side thrashed Oman by 93 runs in the Group A encounter at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday. Opting to bat first, Pakistan posted 160 runs on the board with Mohammad Haris top scoring with a knock of 66. However, everything was far from perfect for Pakistan. Batting first, the side lost Saim Ayub for a duck in the opening over. Sahibzada Farhan and Haris then put on 85 runs for the second wicket, and it was the latter who took the bull by its horns.
