India, Dec. 13 -- Walmart has announced that all of its over 4,600 locations in the United States will be closed on December 25, 2025, resulting in a complete day without public service. This closure marks one of the only two days each year when the retailer halts its operations, the other being Thanksgiving Day.
In order to avoid interfering with their holiday celebrations, Walmart has also changed its operation hours on December 24. Customers are urged to conclude their shopping ahead of time, either in the days preceding the holiday or during the specified business hours.
