India, Jan. 23 -- Volkswagen has announced that it has commenced the local assembly of the Tayron SUV in India. It will be the new flagship SUV for the brand that will be brought to India in R-Line trim. Tayron R-Line is being assembled at the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Plant in Maharashtra, and the launch is scheduled to happen in the first quarter of 2026.
