India, March 30 -- With the Dior show nearly two years ago, followed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee's grand exhibit to mark 25 years of the brand, Mumbai is seemingly inching close to resuscitating its profile as the country's fashion capital; and British designer Vivienne Westwood's first-ever showcase at the Gateway of India, on Tuesday, in partnership with the department of textiles, government of Maharashtra, fortifies that claim.
The show will feature a selection of the brand's spring-summer 2025 looks, and archival pieces.
