India, March 4 -- India's No.3 Virat Kohli broke several records as he scored 84 runs off 98 balls in the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final against Australia at the Dubai International Stadium. During the high-octane encounter, the 36-year-old surpassed the 8000 run mark in ODI run-chases. The 36-year-old took 159 innings to achieve the milestone and is now the second batter in the sport's history to have more than 8000 runs while chasing in the 50-over format.
