India, Dec. 2 -- In a career spanning more than 50 years, Aamir Khan has played romantic leads, action heroes, and dreamers driven by a desire to effect change. Khan, 60, began his career at the age of eight, in the family action-drama Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973) and became a superstar with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). A string of mega-hits followed. In 1999, he turned producer with Aamir Khan Productions. Khan has either starred in or produced some of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.
