New Delhi, Feb. 26 -- Public Works Department (PWD) minister Parvesh Verma took charge on Tuesday, starting by reviewing ongoing infrastructure projects across Delhi and pledging to provide pothole-free roads.

"We are committed to providing world-class road infrastructure to residents. The focus will be on ensuring well-maintained roads, efficient footpaths, and overall urban beautification... we will work tirelessly to make Delhi a model city with superior infrastructure," he said.

The minister also ordered an immediate assessment and repair of damaged roads across the city and called for expedited completion of all pending infrastructure projects. htc
