India, Jan. 14 -- Several customers are inquiring about the status of Verizon's service outage and when it will be restored. On Wednesday, users throughout the United States have reported difficulties with calls and mobile connectivity. Numerous devices displayed SOS instead of the usual network bars. Downdetector noted a significant increase in complaints.

Cities such as New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Seattle have experienced issues.

Users have reported unsuccessful calls and a lack of signal. Verizon has been reached out to, but a comprehensive response has yet to be provided.
