Chandigarh, Dec. 22 -- The UT estate office accelerated its digital transformation drive to enhance transparency and improve service delivery, with over 10 lakh pages of legacy property records already scanned and uploaded on the document management system (DMS). Deputy commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav said that the remaining paperwork will be completed by March next year.

A three-level verification mechanism has been introduced to ensure the accuracy of digitised records, which is a major step towards paperless and transparent property administration. The reforms are part of a broader initiative to enhance digital governance, reduce manual intervention and improve citizen convenience.
