India, June 26 -- The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued a stern warning to green card holders in an X post on Wednesday. The government agency said it will remove the permanent residency and visa privileges of individuals found guilty of serious criminal offences, such as endorsing or supporting terrorist activity.

The USCIS shared a photo that read: "Green cards and visas will be revoked if an alien breaks the law."

The agency noted that people who are green card holders or have visas are no longer eligible to stay in the country if they "advocate for violence, endorse or support terrorist activity, or encourage others to do so."
