Washington, March 7 -- The Trump administration has suspended the use of military aircraft for deportation flights, marking a significant shift in its immigration enforcement strategy, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

Defence officials confirmed that the last military deportation flight occurred on March 1 and the Pentagon confirmed on Tuesday that no such flights were scheduled for the next 48 hours. A flight previously scheduled for Thursday was cancelled, with officials indicating the pause could become permanent, the report said.
