LUCKNOW, Sept. 4 -- Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is set to conduct the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET 2025) on September 6 and 7, with more than 25.32 lakh candidates registered to appear. This year's figure is about 5.25 lakh higher than the 20.07 lakh registrations in 2023.

The exam will be held in two days and four shifts across 48 districts, with nearly 6.33 lakh candidates in each shift. The first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second from 3 pm to 5 pm. Each candidate will appear in one of the four shifts allotted by the commission.
