Noida, April 24 -- The Uttar Pradesh transport department has issued show-cause notices to 28 assistant regional transport officers (ARTOs) and 51 car dealers across the state for serious lapses in the vehicle registration process. The action follows a departmental review of the VAHAN portal, which revealed widespread delays and non-compliance with registration procedures between January and March 2025.
