PRAYAGRAJ, April 6 -- Even as the new academic session 2025-26 of the UP Board, formally known as Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, began on April 1, recognition for schools vying for affiliation and found suitable by the board as per norms has not yet been issued. As per the revised rules, recognition through the online process should have been granted before the start of the new academic session.
Around two months back, the board had sought a formal go-ahead from the state government to issue recognition to these 124 schools spread across UP but the permission from the state government is still awaited, concede officials.
