Mumbai, July 20 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has said that internal fighting over seat sharing and a focus on securing victories for individual parties led to the MVA's defeat in the 2024 Maharashtra assembly polls.
"The seat-sharing parleys dragged on till the very last minute. The squabbling [among MVA partners] sent a wrong message to the people. During Lok Sabha polls, there was a sense of belonging but it was replaced by individual egos focused on securing party-wise wins," he said in an interview to party mouthpiece Saamana. P2
