LUCKNOW, Jan. 10 -- The King George's Medical University (KGMU) resident doctor, who has been accused of sexually exploiting his colleague on pretext of marriage and forcing her to convert, was arrested on Friday evening, police said. Deputy commissioner of police (west) Vishwajeet Srivastava said the accused, Rameezuddin Nayak alias Rameez Malik, was absconding and carried a reward of Rs.50,000. "Malik had been evading arrest since the registration of the FIR and was hiding in the Thakurganj area of Lucknow," the DCP said, adding that a joint team of the Lucknow (west) surveillance unit finally nabbed him on Friday.
