Kolkata/Berhampore, April 16 -- The West Bengal Police on Tuesday arrested two brothers for their alleged involvement in the murder of a man and his son during large-scale violence in Murshidabad district, even as security forces kept a strict vigil to prevent any fresh clashes over the recently enforced Waqf (Amendment) Act in the eastern state, officers said.

The two accused, identified as Kalu Nadab and Dildar Nadab, are residents of the same Jafrabad locality in violence-hit Samserganj block where the deceased - Harogobindo Das (72) and his son Chandan (40) - used to live, a police officer said.P10
