New Delhi, Dec. 4 -- The Delhi Police's railway unit busted two organised women-led gang of thieves who stole jewellery and other valuables from people in lifts or escalators at railway stations. Police on Wednesday said they arrested five women and recovered stolen valuables worth Rs.1 crore. One of the gangs was operating across Gujarat and Delhi, and another out of Anand Parbat in Delhi. Police said the first gang was busted at the Sarai Rohilla Railway Station, where the accused travelled from Palitana, in Bhavnagar district of Gujarat.
