India, Feb. 22 -- I've said it before - and I'll say it again - English is a delightful language. You have words that are spelt similarly but pronounced differently. As in this sentence: "The bandage was wound around the wound." They're called heteronyms. You also have words that are pronounced the same but spelt differently. For instance, beach and beech or tire and tyre. They're called homonyms. This means that just because you know how to speak it, you don't necessarily know how to write English or, if you can spell it correctly, that's no guarantee you can pronounce it properly.
